20 min favorite book?

I love reading and most of the reading iI do is usually online, but I love opening a hard copy of a book. The smell and feel of the pages make me secretly happy. My favorite book right now is The Girl on the Balcony by Olivia Hussey. Her name might be familiar since she is an actress and her biggest role was in Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet in the 1968 version of the film. It is an autobiography of her life as far as her childhood to her moment of fame and later to marriage and children. I love reading about other peoples lives and especially since hers is so interesting. She talks about moving to London from Argentina and then moving away to Italy for the duration of the shoot of Romeo and Juliet. When she comes back she stays in London for a bit but thinks the dreadful weather is not enough and takes a chance to move to the United States. It is so fascinating to read about how she makes her decisions and the people so met along the way. Her relationship with Leonard, her costar from R&J, is the best and even if she does not speak too much about him while she faces all her troubles, she mentions they will always have the best of friends. Being able to hear and imagine her whole life from the start is something I really enjoy. But I have to say that sometimes it makes me sad and angry to read what this poor girl had to go through to make her the woman she is today. This is my favorite book right now because she proves how strong women are and how after we hit our lowest we have to bring ourselves back up. It is also fun to read about her experiences with other actors and traveling across the world. She writes about her first marriage to Dean Martin’s son Dino, her pregnancy, and their divorce. I always thought it was so sad to hear about their relationship, you could tell he loved her but things happen and they even made a pact to get back together by 35 but he died that age. She also goes through an abusive relationship with another actor who was mentally ill. She traveled with him so he could do his movie but was having a hard time due to his problems and not wanting to take medicine. As he got abusive Olivia was forced to go back to LA to escape. Right before she moved into the house of her manger, a couple that was renting it out was murdered by the Mansons. She moved in weeks later and began living there, making it her home.
